Turning Determination
Into Hope
Nearly 1 in 8 women in the United States will face a breast cancer diagnosis in her lifetime. Behind every statistic is a mother, daughter, sister, or friend - and a story that deserves hope.
For more than 20 years, the Shula Fund has been committed to advancing breast cancer research and care. Founded by Don and Mary Anne Shula, the Fund exclusively supports Moffitt Cancer Center - Florida's leading cancer hospital and a nationally recognized leader in groundbreaking treatment and research.
To date, the Shula Fund has contributed more than $3 million to Moffitt, helping provide innovative therapies, compassionate care, and critical research that improves patient outcomes in Florida and beyond.
As Moffitt Cancer Center founder H. Lee Moffitt shared:
"The Shula story is more than just football. Don had a tremendous voice in the war against cancer."
That voice continues through the Shula Fund today - driving progress, supporting patients, and fueling research that brings us closer to better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
